Most of our estimates are about $1200-$1400 depending on what it needs and what you want to replace. Standard rates start at $900-$950 depending on which of us you use. The price goes up if it needs gears, bearings or additional parts not included in those packages. Good luck and hope this gives you some idea.

Continuing with this idea, my T56 will have about 125,000 miles on it by the time I get around to wanting to rebuild it. I wouldn't be putting down big numbers, just looking for a like-new condition. Later down the road though, how much would it be to have the viper upgrade to the t56 cost? I live in Houston, so I could bring it by the shop when the work is done.

Exactly the longer you wait if there is an issue the heavier the cost. Now if there isn't anything wrong that is completely a different story. To answer the question we have a Viper special of $599 right now for the conversion.

Thanks,
Amber

Six speeds will be able to answer that alot better, but its basically just a much stronger and tougher T56, like the ones they put in Vipers. A stock t56 like what we have actually can handle alot of torque, probably around 600 or 650 for sure. But for higher levels than that, you should have your t56 rebuilt with the same stronger forks and internals as a viper t56.
