Default LS2 Steam Vent

The LS1 water pump has that flat part on top to tap for the steam vent, the LS2 pump doesnt, can I tap it anywhere? Any pics or info would be great.

You can tee it into the top radiator hose, Heater hose or into the radiator tank near the top but below the cap (do not use the barb under the radiator cap).

I thought about the upper radiator hose, but I thought it would be a cleaner look if it was just a short hose to the water pump.

I have it tapped into the radiator, Be Cool added that to the radiator for me. The line runs parallel to the radiator and intake, so I don't think it looks too bad.

The bracket is here: http://hotrodlane.cc/
You'll have to download their catalog and search for it, it's somewhere in the LS1 accessory section. They're usually part of a kit but you can buy the brackets alone; I don't remember the cost.

I used their upper and lower bracket and two pulleys, the upper bracket is adjustable to put tension on the belt.

I plan on drilling my water pump down low by the thermostat housing. On the 5.3L Trailblazers the hose from the crossover tube went to the heater hose.

I drilled a hole and tapped an NPT barb into the top of my LS2 water pump. Don't have pics right now, but was rather easy to do. The casing is nice and thick. Just bent the steam tube down 90º and tapped where it pointed.

I have the Corvetter WP, if that matters.
