Default X1 cam and 59cc 243 heads, will it clear?

If I were to run some 59cc Patriot stage II 243's with GM MLS gaskets should I still have adequate p/v clearance with the MTI X1 cam?

thanks

Mark

Are they welded or milled to 59cc?

They're milled to 59cc, not welded, they are 243 castings.

The exhaust lobe closes at 0, NBD
that intake valve opens very early 6º BTDC

Thats where your clearance issue will be.

Why not go with patriot heads with 2.02 or even 2.00" intake valves, pickup some extra room.
