Anyone stationed at Elmendorf? I'm lookin forward to it, I love the outdoors, and I like to hunt and fish!!! My wife doesn't like to hunt, but she loves the outdoors, and likes to fish!! Its gonna be a good time I think!

Yea, but only my wifes car. My 72 Monte is going to stay in Michigan with my dad, costs about 3k to ship it from Barksdale. So thats not happening!

I got a buddy that just PCS'd up there to the enroute, he says hes bored to death at work but loves the area

Cool, yea, work isn't always exciting. I'm just looking forward to the area and the things to do. There is a track about an hour north of Elmendorf up there. I'm lookin forward to goin up there. Maybe I'll get into circle track racing. Its a paved 1/4 mile track.

The strip is about a 40 minute drive from the main gate.
