Generation IV External Engine - Forged LS3 already built with L92 Heads. What heads/intake can I change to?

Hello,

I have a forged LS3 with L92 heads/L76 Intake.

I'd like to make power to 7k and maybe even lower the compression about .5 to 1.

What head/intake options do I have?

I've been waiting a year for the aftermarkts L76 intakes and I've about lost my patience, especially since the aftermarket may not even be that much better.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :chug:

To keep it affordable, you would go with the L76 carb-style intake (single plane), and have a machine shop open up your combustion chambers. That's about all you can do.

You can use intake #25534416 and an elbow to help high RPM breathing.
I think that it may not be worthwhile to tear apart an engine to make such a small change in compression.
Just my .02

The new Weiand intake comes out mid summer for L92 heads. Worth 30 hp & torque over the L76 intake. Here is video on it.

I'd like to see what the ET small bore LS7 heads would do with the right camming. The real benefit is you can run the LS7 intake which is a nice piece.

He said the performance gain is up to 6200rpm

You'd think the aftermarket would go as high as a stock LS7 considering its going to go on mostly modded cars.

That kinda sux

What cc's do the ET LS7 heads come in? I hear the valves are very heavy and may not be great for road racing?

Thanks!
