Default F1 procharger on LS6

I am considering putting an f1 procharger on my crate engine LS6, and was wondering what mods should be made to the engine to handle the pressure of the procharger. Any help is appreciated!

F1 would be too big if your planning on leaving the engine stock. I just got done an 03 z06 with a d1sc and a blower cam i ground and it made 661rwhp and 548 tq.. before the cam it made 603... these were both on a mustang dyno.

Did you change the crank or anything?

I did not realize the F1 would be too big!

How bullet proof is that setup. I need to be able to drive the car daily.
Thanks for the info!

i wouldnt say its bullet proof but as long as the tune is on it should be good... you can run alittle less boost than this customer is on his (8psi). This car is also a daily driver.

if u need to daily drive the car i would stick with the d1sc and run about 8# if u are keeping the engine stock.Add forged rods and pistons if u want to run more boost. Also what kind of compression ratio are u at with your crate motor?

I haven't fully decided where compression will end up.

The F1 and F-1A have a step up ratio of 5:40/1. The P-1SC and D-1SC have a 4:10/1 ratio. The F series of blower can't be slowed down enough with the largest pulleys that ProCharger offers, to run 8 psi or so of boost that a stock bottom end requires.
For a LS6 stock engine, I'd go with a D-1SC. You can still make good power with a D-1SC down the road if you choose to, check this one out. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=40 Bob
