Id go with the MT drag radials . They have some good sizes for the 18inch rim and a regular tread like a nitto. But they hook Like a M0f0 do relize they arent on yourlist If it must be one of the 2 you picked Id go nitto

They 18 inch sizes are available. I have the 265 18`s on my gto and put down 1.54 60`s so far and my friend with c5 has the 305/18`s and has put down 1.43`s so they work!

I just bought 285/35/18 nittos. I havent really driven the car though. I had them on my 16's and they are pretty decent in the rain. So if your driving at all in the rain go with nittos if not and you go to the track alot go with the bfg's but you will were them down FAST compared to the nittos. I got about 10k out of my last pair and had about 20-25 passes on them and they still had plenty of tread when I sold them.

Driving in the rain with the new MT tread is no problemo. I had problems with my 16in mts but thats because it has those 2 lines in the middle which have no drainage. The Nittos is avery good All around tire.

Just took my Nittos for a spin and they are great! I launched it at 3500 rpm and it spun for like 5 ft then hooked real hard! I love these things!

The two questions that will decide what ones are best for you is: Will you drive in the rain? and Is your car a daily driver? Because if you answer yes to these questions Nittos are really your only choice.

the car is my daily driver, but I have a set of c6 18x9 1/2 rims that will be my drag rims, so they wont be put on if theres rain.

I think I found a set of mickey thompsons 265/40/18 on summit, think those would suffice? http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MTT-3782R I used the calculater on the first sticky and it loos like it will be just a little bigger than my street tires.

Yah if your just driving it to the track then by those mickey thomsons. Just stay out of the rain with them. With the small side wall it will be stiffer so you can drive them on the highway with no prob. If you really wanted a serious wheel and tire combo I'd buy some 15's if I were you and then buy the Mickey Thompsons for those.
