Is there any way to run true dual exhaust on a '92 Camaro?

Is there any way to run true dual exhaust on a '92 Camaro? We're resurrecting my son's '92 Camaro. We're having a 350 w/4 bolt mains built for it. I can't see any way to get pipes up high enough, sub frame, tranny cross member, etc. Even with shorty headers.
My first idea was to exit the pipes in front of the back tires but there doesn't look to be enough room to get pipes from the headers even that far.
Is my only option to run a y-pipe and a single 3 inch pipe?
