Default Help me figure out what the problem is, MS3 Results

Ok, so I finally got my car tuned yesterday, and I'm not exactly thrilled about the results. The tune is spot on, but something's wrong, I'm just not 100% sure what it is

Here are the mods:

MTI Lid
Ported throttle body
LS6 Intake
Pacesetter LT's w/ ORY
Stock catback/Cutout (open during the dyno)
Rebuilt (stock specs w/ ARP bolts) 346 (ls6 block)
Stock cleaned up 98' Heads
PRC Dual Springs (kit w/ retainers etc...)
Hardened pushrods
Stock injectors
Stock Rockers
MS3 Cam 112 LSA
Ported LS6 oil pump
NGK TR5 Plugs
Stock ignition w/ msd wires
25% Underdrive pulley
4L60E
Yank SS 3600 Stall
Stock 10 Bolt w/ 2.73's ()
I'm sure i forgot something somewhere...

And the results: (unlocked) Pull made in 3rd Gear on a DynoJet

I made 3 Pulls total, one of which was to 6300, and the were all within 5 minutes of eachother so heat soak could have been an issue....

I can see that it started experiencing valve float up top, but I still feel the numbers should have been quite a bit higher... I'm thinking there are a few possible reasons, so just let me know what you think:

The car had a fubarred mail order tune on it for about 7,000 miles. It ran pretty rich, but nothing dangerous. I didn't get to change the plugs before the dyno like I wanted, but I'm thinking maybe they might be one problem.

Also, the car has ~160k miles on it. I have NO IDEA what the fuel pump situation is... Could this maybe be a fuel pressure issue from a worn out pump?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need to rev that cam past 6k to get the most power out of it. You didn't even hit the stock cam limit! Where's the 6300 pull at?

This is the only one he printed off, and sadly it's the highest... The power just started dropping off after 6k, and the other graph showed some valve float at around 6300rpm... I'm starting to wonder what's really going on with my valvetrain

Also, on that run (I was in the car dynoing it) my tach was appearantly reading 200rpm's low, that's why it was such a low pull. The rest were done using the dyno's reading.

He said it wasn't going to do much good to spin it higher than 6k the way the curve was looking b/c that's where it was peaking. Above 6300 the tuner said it was experiencing what's called "valvetrain chaos" The tuner is the best in the area, and everything is spot on... The problem is with the car unfortunately...

You think so? What do you think would cause that? In all honesty I have no idea what the trans in the car has been through... It looks like it has been rebuilt but I have no info on the mileage or anything...

My buddy has a nearly identical set up

Lid
85MAF
90 NW
PP 96mm Intake
MS3
Pacesetters w/ORY
Springs/push rods from TSP
UD pulley
3600 stall
3:73's

Dagostino worked on it for hours and the best it made was 347rwhp. No idea why. Its not just the dyno/stall either since his car does not pull very hard. He bought an 03 Cobra (465rwhp) since and has both cars and the Cobra is much faster and it shouldnt be with the cam/mods. No idea whats up with it. He is taking it back and they are going to do thier best finding gremlins.

I dont think fuel pump is the issue or you would have seen the A/F go lean.
