Default Dyno Results: Cam w/ stock heads (Includes FAST 92!)

On Friday I finally got a chance to get my car tuned and dynoed. I am very pleased with the outcome.

All my mods are in my sig. Keep in mind I have stock 241 heads with minor porting, and I still need to get a pulley as well, so there is still a little more power that I can squeeze out of it by upgrading these. This is through a set of 4:10 gears too. And to boot, the car was also running a little warm due to an air pocket that I couldn't get bled out because of a bad thermostat. I wanted to thank Patrick G for helping me pick out my cam choice, and I also wanted to thank Vengeance Racing for the beautifully ported FAST 92 intake.

First - very nice numbers!

Second - I thought by "stock heads and cam" you meant stock heads and stock cam, haha. Then I saw the dyno numbers and knew that wasn't right. You may want to reword that.

Third - how did your car do before the FAST setup? Did you just do the FAST now or did you do the cam and head porting along with the FAST?

Haha, yeah that did sound confusing. Its changed now! I never got any numbers before the FAST. I did my cam swap/head porting at the end of summer and I drove it around for a while with the stock intake and untuned. I just put on the FAST intake and injectors last weekend and I got it tuned this weekend. Thanks for the compliment!

Nice torque curve. Big area under the curve should make for lots of fun on the street and strip. Wish you would have taken the rpm up higher. I'd love to see where the power starts to drop off.

Thanks for the info. Definitely some nice numbers on stock heads, even with mild porting.

I was thinking that too, but I'm still on a stock bottom end, including rod bolts.
It kinda scares me to take it any higher

Very nice numbers. Almost the exact same numbers I got with untouched stock heads. I do have a pulley though, and that damn IRS. Vengeance did a nice job with the intake.

Thanks for all the comments guys! And thats actually not my best graph. My best one is the same horsepower, but I put down 397 RWTQ.

You never got this thing dyno'd without the fast 92/92 did you, I bet that sucker amplifies the affect of the mild port job. But in any case just know that if you wanto throw some top of the line heads on there youl be makin some sssserious power.... nice job.
