Default Alternator bracket question

What makes this bracket - http://www.jegs.com/i/Moroso/710/63842/10002/-1 - different than this one - http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&sid=604#P4261

the madman bracket puts keeps the alternator on the pass side, and the moroso one puts the alternator on the drivers side. I don't know if the moroso one works with our cars...

The alternator on are car is larger then the one that bracket was made for. The spacers to line up the belt would be different also. There are cheaper brackets out there then the one from thunder but the're not a sponcer on here so I cant post a link.

yea, a standard sbc alt. bracket will NOT work. The dia. of a lt1 alt. is larger and thats why madman made one with a bigger dia. I bought a sbc one and had to cut it and extend it to fit my alt.
