Clicking sound when A/C turned on

Clicking sound when A/C turned on When the A/C is turned on, I assume its the compressor making a clicking sound about 1 click per second and this continues until the A/C is turned off, hopefully it just needs a recharge, and the whole time my idle is bouncing around surging and hunting...if this is the compressor going off and on, should it affect my idle like that?
