Default First run at the track

I'd have to say im disappointed in myself. I couldn't even break 13's. By best time was a 14.2 @ 104 with a crappy 2.5 sixty foot time.

All day I was running 2.5, except for one 2.7 that resulted when i turned asr off.

Launched from 2000 rpm on the first few runs, then 3000 on the last few. But I saw no change in my 60 ft times. From the looks of it, getting my time down to just 2.0 should put me in the mid-high 13's easily, right?

Tires were 40 psi front, 20 rear. Shifting at 5500 rpm every gear.

What do I need to do differently?

You were dropping the clutch and spinning like crazy.

No offense but i can run a 60ft that fast on my feet.

What tires? Burnout?

5500rpm is also too low, but not your problem.

Try to leave at 2000-2500 and partially slip the clutch. You can run some 2.0X easily.

I think the tires are stock, 245-50-16 BFGoodrich Radial T/A. I did not use the waterbox.

I didn't drop the clutch, i tried to let it out slowly. The ASR kicked in every time still though, except for the last one when i turned it off.

So do i need to shift closer to 6000 rpm then?
