Default knock sensor and bs3.

is there a way to measure knock and see how much knock if any with an homemade device or aftermarket unit.... i noticed after i installed bs3 there is no hookup for the knock sensors.

if it bothers you and you feel that you need the set up for your application you can have your box upgraded to have the ESC (knock system). I can tell you what other part numbers you need. I did this a couple years ago and still have all of my gear. I wish I could remember who helped me with it way back when.. maybe they will chime in.

basically you need old school knock modules, maybe off of a GN to process the sensors signal first before sending into bs3.. for two knock sensors you need two modules.. wire the outputs together if so and hook to single (new) wire out of the box and that is it.
