Default Stock Bottom End Dyno#s For LT1 N/A 93 Octane and on E85

I dynoed my car Saturday @ Pro Dyno Tech in Crawfordsville, Indiana.. The car is an UNTOUCHED from the factory stock bottom end. I have LPE ported heads , Joe Overton cam and Eric Bradby did Intake porting and portmatched everything to the intake. The car also has all the supporting mods for this setup. The car has 63,000 miles on the odo. The car is also a 6-speed with a strange 12bolt. The last time i was @ pro Dyno Tech the car made N/A 416rwhp and 399rwtq but later discovered the car was running 110-120percent duty cycle on the 30# injectors.. I put 42# injectors in and retuned the car with great results.. The car made 442.1rwhp@6300rpm and 405rwtq@4900rpm. Then we switched to E85 and the car made 457.8rwhp@6100rpm and 421.0rwtq@4800rpm.. I am not sure what the dyno record is for a stock bottom end LT1 N/A is but i have to be close.. I will have track times soon.. The car increased across the board on the E85 not just in one certain area. To say the least i am happy..

Sounds awsome. Those are some very solid numbers. E85 is great.

Full 100% E85 or a ratio of 93/E85?

My car didn't like running high % of E85. So I figure I could probably push 50:50, but if I do I play it safe and go 60:40. (Petrol/E85)

Because it puts pressure on our food supplies to make the E85. E85 isn't made from air after all

Very impressive numbers, especially through a 12 bolt. The cam specs are unreal. I always thought that LT1s loved a high exhaust lift, but the dyno proved that theory wrong...LOL Time for some more R&D. Also, when is E85 coming to the east coast?

With the new "E85 is bad for the environment and the economy" vibe going around, either never or the far future.

APPARENTLY It's exhaust output isn't any better than fossil fuel, only thing is, is that it's a renewable resource. And 105oc that's cheap for us

I know there's a better list out there, but just goggle E85 Gas Stations and find the one that tells exactly where they are. This one does show some east coast stations

The reason the car didnt like high amounts of E85 is because ethanol has a lower energy density that regular gasoline fuel. With that in mind i dont think ill be putting that in my tank... Ever.
