bolt on or pin on cowl hood? where can i get one?

bolt on or pin on cowl hood? where can i get one? hey guys what are the pros and cons of a bolt on/ pin on hood, I don't really want anyone to have that easy of access to my engine, and where's the cheapest place to get a hood the cheapest i can find is like 4-500$

VFN fiberglass is a sponsor on here. They have a lot of different choices. They also have a 10% off discount for all LS1tech members. They run a lot of sales too. The obvious benefits of a bolt on are the facts that you don't have to remove the whole thing every time you want to pop the hood and not dealing with pins or dzu fasteners. Pin on hoods are lighter, but you have to yank them off and deal with reattaching them.

pros are its lighter. cons are pain in the *** when you go to work on your car you have to take the hood off. people can steal it easier. people can get to your engine easier. if you want to you can get locking hood pins. and thats all i can think of off the top of my head
