Default o2 sensor or my opti ?

noticed bad sputtering yesterday smelled exhaust real bad and i was shooting flames out mycutout
it would sputter for awhile and then go away
i prey its not my o2 .. but my o2 code came up when i got it scanned
but it also came up when my opti pooped ..any ideas ?
blahhhh hate lt1's
i hate cruising at 3100rpm all the way outta town and sputtering made it better
oh and btw trannys going out too so it was a great day

if its o2 sensor then replace those...you can get two of them for $70 so its a relatively cheap fix...i would do that before opti

yeah i figured it was them
but i didnt wanna go blow $70 on something i didnt need

well how many miles are on your car? they are supposed to be replaced every 100k anyways

yea the o2's are real easy fix. I had to replace mine and man what a difference. took a total of 10min.

just pray it is not the opti damn that is expensive and a pain to put in
