Going to install bs3 system on 06 gto..just curious if unit is standalone or does it piggyback with factory computer?

I can be used as both. You can keep your stock computer to run your gauges, it just requires splicing into the crank sensor and coolant temp sensor. I plan on getting BS3 as well but I want to ditch the computer and harness all together.
