Default Low mile 98..SS What's it worth?

Hello, I'm trying to get a realistic idea of what my car is worth. I'm not sure if I'm going to try and sell it or not yet, but I am thinking about it. The car is a 1998 Camaro SS with and M6. I am the original owner and it has 16,800 miles on it. It is arctic white with gray leather interior. It has t-tops and a power drivers seat. It has very few mods and all but one is easy to put back to stock. I was very careful when I added any mods so they could be put back to stock in the future. It has the skip shift eliminator, SLP lid, Magnaflow cat-back, SLP strut tower brace, B&M ripper shifter, white faced gauges, and Sphon weld-in sub-frame connectors. I have the original shifter, exhaust, and lid. I also put on some American racing TTII's about three years ago with BFG g-force sport tires. The tires have about 5,000 miles on them. I have the original ZR-1 style wheels with the origianl Goodyear f1's. The car is near perfect in every way and runs excellent. Any idea of how much I should ask or what kind of "realistic" price I could get for it? Thanks

i would ask $18k for it, but i dont think youll get more than $15-$16k. thats very low miles (same miles as my car) but its a 10 year old car. the value wont go up for another 15 years or so, if it ever does go up.

Not that I put much stock in KBB, but their excellent condition 1998 Camaro SS with every option I could think of to put on the car was $10,610.

I don't put much stock in KBB either. I know for a fact that dealers don't use KBB.

i think most dealers use Nada...but what you need to look at is what people are willing to pay, and that can be far from what those books say.

check ebay often to see what they go for on there. what i quoted you was based on what ive seen on ebay, and what i spent on my car.

Cool link. I feel pretty good as well, I found my 98 SS is pristine shape with only 47k miles. Not too bad.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I kept my SS. Mileage is up to 18,300. I know I could never replace the car, so I decided to keep it.
