Default Never had nitrous before... want it now!!

I am getting a set of stage 2 5.3's and a 230/236 cam from Absolute Speed in a couple weeks.

I was going to do a stroker from Jay, but did not want to spend all that money.

I will be istalling ARP rod bolts, Rollmaster double roller, modified LS6 oil pump (TSP), and Yella Terra 1.7 rockers.

What kind of Nitrous system should I get (wet, dry, and what brand)? I want to clear 500 rwhp.

I want to do it the safest way... but also I don't want to go broke doing it.

I will also be installing a 12 bolt, w/ 33 spline axles, 1350 yoke, and a TA cover.

What do you guys think? I have run a search and read some threads but I just wanted to ask for my own application.

Sorry if it has been asked 1000 times!!

Wet kit, upgrade fuel pump and spray a 150 shot, that'll put you well over 500 with the above combo.

That is the one that I see is most talked about.

Is there any othe recommendations for the nitrous system for me.

Also what kind of accessories are required for the different kits... i.e. bottle opener, bottle heaters, window switches...etc.

Thanks

Myself, i would like to use an independant fuel system. A small 1-gal. fuel cell and regulated fuel system. Fill the cell with high-octane unleaded and just go. I thought about doing this with a DP setup with race gas in the cell.

Well, i thin you could get away with sprayin 150 on a stock pump, but i would do it for safety reasons. I went with a nirous works 13080 universal kit. i have 2 nozzles and jets to go from 50-175 hp in 25hp increments. most people on this board and z28 run NX kits. I however think that the nitrous works kit is safer. generally when you use the jets for a NX kit your making more power than its supposed to be and it runs a lil bit leaner than other kits. ive heard this from other people too, but id just look into it. either way you go, i wouldnt expect to get it in and working good for less than 800-1200 bucks. i swear i had to put at least 800 on top of the kit price of $430. but that was with gauge pillar, a/f gauge, oil pressure, n20 pressure, fuel pressure, fuel pressure safety switch, countless fittings, wiring, good relays, purge kit, blah blah, blah... nitrous is the **** though, and people love it. haha. let it be known, i had my juice in before the fast and the furious came out. : )
