Default First Run Ever

Made my first pass yesterday ever at a drag strip, I had only raced on the street before. I'm alittle dissapointed. My run specs are 2.2 60ft, 82.06mph 1/8th, 13.802 @ 106.29. Seeings how it was my first run I know there is room for improvement. But my ET seems like crap... Does this sound average to you guys for my mods?

P.S. Keep in mind I'm A4 with 2.73's.

your mph is decent, get some radials and 3.73's and youll pick up a TON of et.

some Strange 3.73's are going in on the 15th I have an appointment. And i have some ET streets if I need them. What would the expected gain be? One of the guys at the track who has a turbo LT1 is saying that I could drop a full second.

106 could be good for low 13's

I went 12.97 @ 106 in my old z

60' was in the 1.7's though

I had similar mods and i ran a 13.3 at 106 then i went back without my speaker system and i ran a 13.3 again but at a 109.8(damn near 110)

If you get traction and get a 1.9 sixty foot you'll be all good. I was on my street tires both trips to the track and it sucked! I only had a 2.3 60ft

Definitly try and get you 60' time down a little bit. With that mph you should be low 13s.

I've gone 12.90s at 107 mph with minimal mods (no exhaust changes except for a muffler swap on the stock system) with a 1.93 60 foot time with an auto 3.23 geared car, so the possibility of high 12s with traction in good air isn't far fetched.

I agree with the above. 3.73s and those MTs and I bet you're looking at a low low 13 to high 12 second pass. You may even pick up a mph or so. Let us know how it goes!

Default 13.52/105mph

Sorry to have to tell you this, but, I ran a 13.52/105mph with my 1999 Z28. Only mods were MTI lid/Bellows, and SLP LM1 Catback. I now havw 3.73's installed, but have yet to run it again.
