Default flycutting

just want to see how many of you flycut when you went with your big cam. ms4, trex, vindicator...was it worth it? necessary?

Trex and MS4 are not needed, even though I've seen some pistons that had valve marks, if your engine is out of the car and disassembled do it just for insurance. I personally had a trex put with stock shortblock and never left a mark ok the pistons, after bout a few months I bought some wiseco with valve relief pistons.

Get a junk head and flycutting tools, they're pretty cheap and will save you some worries.

Cometic Gasket .04 or .4 whatever, Patriot LS6 Stage II 59cc Heads

No they were not milled the used welded chambers. The new casting mill i believe.

Smallish T2 cam, but heads milled .040. Easy to do, and well worth it. My cam has room to spare should I ever upgrade.
