Hard to beat Pedders zero drop rear springs (I have +5/16" drag springs, but the zero drop are very nice too). They are about 50% stiffer than the stockers. I also have the Pedders GSR shocks. Nice pretty red.

I've got drag bags in an otherwise stock suspension and they helped w/wheel hop quite a bit. It's also nice you can adjust them to figure out what you like the look and feel of. Also cheap and easy to install.

I wanted to run 275-40-17 Mickey Thompson ET Street drag radial tires, so that's why I went with the taller drag springs. The Zero drop Pedders springs will work fine for stock size tires and Nitto 275-40-17 drag radials (they run narrower).

I had a PM asking about the half shafts. They are custom made by a guy I know that has his own company. PM me if you want info about how to contact him. He uses Porsche 930 CV joints with chrome moly CV cages and hardened races. The 930 joints are thicker than the stock CVs and distribute the load over a wider area. The axles are made from tough 4340 material. They also come with a new set of longer 12.9 grade bolts. The red power coat was sort of a one off, but who knows, you might be able to talk him into powder coating more.

What does this have to do with the thread? It's no secrete, go to LS1GTO.com and do a search about it.

What does your post have to do with the thread? Take a chill pill. I posted a pic of springs and shocks and then got a PM asking about the axles. I figured I'd post the info in case someone else was curious. Oh yeah, it's spelled "secret".

I'm running this setup also, but with Koni adjustables. Wheel hop is at a minimum with street tires and about non existent with drag radials.

Very nice combo, IMHO.

I had King springs on my 04 GTO and Pedders on my 06 GTO. Didnt have problems with either. I'd go with the Pedders since they are easy to get.

I have the king 0 drop rear springs and I love them. It evens the stance out perfectly i.e same distance from fender to tire.

Lovells are cheaper than Pedders if that is part of your concern. From what I have heard Lovells was just purchased by Noltec.

I've heard nothing but good things about Pedders, I witnessed a 28 point inspection at Precision Motorsport and the rep was so knowledgeable and honest.

Pedders all the way.

They have some many different options for any application.

Bluebandit, if you are Jersey you can get the 5/16 raised red springs as shown in the pic from Frank (Rocksand Racing)....maybe he already pm'd ya.

Nice parts in there Batboy...I got the same setup from Chris. So far so good.....

Rob
