Default koni shocks and prokit

wel i finally got the shocks put together..but i just now realized that i have the front shocks put on the higher perch....do i need to compress the springs again in oeder to move it down??? will it be worth it?? i think ist 3/8 diff. i searched but all i came up with is konis w/stock springs....
