Default Need help

ok I Have a 2000 camaro and I was driving home 3 days and the car started running like crap it has everytime ive diven the car since. The car acts like it wants to stall at a complete stop but it wont this is only sometimes. If I am moving and it starts doing it I can give it a good amount of gas and it wont go any faster just feels like its going to stall if I push the clutch in rev it then let the clutch back out it runs ok for like 2 sec. but when I turn the car off then back on it runs fine for a while. Going to see what codes show up right now I will post back in a few.

could be clogged fuel filter, or fuel pump going out, or missfiring, or 02 sensors throwing off your air fuel ratio. get it scanned then we can tell you for sure.

the egr air pump and rear o2 are throwing codes because of header only code that didnt deal with those was a ramdom miss fire. so any ideas? o and if it is doing it while im driving if I give it a lot of gas it takes off but as soon as I left off it acts like it wants to stall!!

i got ac delco replacements, yea it would throw a code and when they scan it it would tell you. But also mine were messing up and then the code would go away then come back later.

yea no code was in there just got back 10 min ago and yesterday when the car was running like **** the light was flashing(the lights always on egr! air! rear o2! - no tune) thats why im thinking it might not be the rear o2s and the way that it goes away then comes back.

Hmm, I've never had the light flash at me, always steady on...

Hey on the topic of 02s and codes, y'all think bad o2s would throw 0172 and 0175: Sensor Banks 1 and 2 system rich ??

if its flashing then its a miss fire, but mine blinked also when the 02s went out.

Interesting. My tuner suggested O2s, cuz when running on HPTuners live, everything appears normal...we even re-flashed and during the test run even the long term looked fine. Next day the SES came back on, throwing the same rich codes. The chick at AutoZone's first response when reading those 2 codes was "HA, time for new 02 sensors." Sorry to hijack your thread dude, but it seemed like an opportune moment to get some quick opinions.

no problem. This is probably a dumb question but can you take rear o2s and use them in the front because I got my old rears sitting here. will they plug in ?

I should prolly do the same, but the ones I took off the back are dirty and black. Just don't understand how sensors that dirty could help my situation! Will be opting for the Corvette rears as soon as I can. Hopefully that'll fix my "rich code" problem.
