I got a guy trying to sell me some black flow tech headers for $200... first question is, are they any good and will they fit on my car with no issues, second of all, is $200 a good price for them

I have heard that they flow well not as good as qtp's or kooks or something but still good. for $200 it seems fair.

they are made by and identical to hookers, only the flanges are thinner. just dont over tourqe them and they are a great header.

they are paper thin, mine are junk looking after 1 year. only $250. ish. new.
pace setters seem to be alot better quality. if you only have $200. its ok
but for a extra $75 or so brand new pace setters are the better choice.:D

Only thing bad I've heard about flowtechs is like said above, the flanges are only 1/4" and tend to warp. I wouldn't pay 200 for them, probably 150 tops.

my flanges bent but dont leak............. so its what ever you want. save 75 bucks or buy new ones. i wouldnt be scared of them, they sealed up on both cars i put them on. only time will tell as i only have had mine for about 6months, but no worries yet.

well i know that i don't wanna do another header swap any time soon cuz with the tight space they are in its a pain having to do them so i think i'm gonna go ahead and order the new pacesetter headers... is this a good idea or should i just go with the flow tech or maybe go with another set? and if i order them where is the cheapest place to get them and what are the prices and shipping costs?

you would have kicked yourself in the ass if you went with painted, go coated but if you can afford it go stainless and you will never have to buy a set of headers again

You'll need a new one if it's not designed for LT's
