Default Broken speed sensor harness on tranny

I broke the speed sensor on the tail end of the tranny (98 4L60E) when I was installing my torque converter. I didn't break the sensor that bolts into the tranny, but I broke the clip that snaps in. GM wants $94 bucks for that clip!!! Do I have any other option?

All you need is the plug correct with the wires? $94 for a pig tail? I would check with another dealer.

That does not cost $94. Tell them to look it up again or go to a different dealer. Might be able to get one from a junk yard.

If the speed sensor isn't plugged the 4L60e won't get a command to shift true?! because I have just drove my car today for the first time, its a 240sx with an LS1 conversion, and its Auto, but it won't shift to 2nd, but I had my speed sensor disconnected because its not reaching... am I right? or do I have another problem?!

Thanks, sorry for the Hijack
