Car:
2002 z28 camaro
74,000 miles
Stock bottom end

Mods:
CNC'ed TFS 215cc milled to 59cc combustion chamber
Harland sharp rockers
HSW "The Big Enchilada" camshaft

ASP underdrive pulley
Ported FAST 90 manifold
Nick Williams 90mm TB
Lid and smooth bellow
upgraded fuel system
Kooks 1 7/8" LT tube headers
Kooks ORY
Magnaflow catback.

Very happy with the peak HP number(492.3), but even more happy with the peak torque (436.7) and ave torgue (382). Still waiting for a cutout to be delivered and i have to imagine it would have put us over the 500rwhp mark.

Can you post specs on that cam ?? If not what ballpark ??

If I had to guess I'd say 240ish cam with lift numbers just over or just under .600

I bought this car last october basically stock at 306 rwhp and i swear the drivabilitly is barely any different. Even with the RAM VDS 910 clutch, lots of play, no bucking what so ever. Just like everyone else said the numbers were all about the h/c package. We will be selling this cam along with two smaller versions.

Definitely as much as ~20-30 rwhp left on the table from various bolt-on upgrades including EWP, larger MAF/Lid, and better flowing exhaust

INCREDIBLE torque from that set-up!!!

Sent you a PM ;)

Wow, those are awesome results and appear to be pretty much the exact setup I'm looking for when I upgrade the heads and cam. Definitely waiting on cam specs. Did you need to flycut with this package? How was the PTV clearance?

One more reason I plan on going with the TFS 215s when I upgrade.

the cutout was worth ~20 whp when we dyno'd so your easy over 500. I think when you have over 450 rwhp the 3" y-pipe/catback gets real restrictive.

I agree with you, it is definitley restrictive, which is why were hoping the cutout came in. I'm glad i went with the magnaflow though. When you hear the car, you'll never guess it makes this kind of power.

Thanks greg We appreciate it. Obviously most people know us as a nitrous vendor, but really we do so much more then just that.

I didnt take it that way. I'm just sayin it naturally is more restrictive then true duals with dumps or a gmmg. I think its easily on of the best sounding exhaust systems out there.

That's why I did my research before buying an exhaust... and went with American Racing Headers and their y pipe with a 3.5" merge instead of the stock 2.75" merge.... Mufflex catback w/ Magnaflow muffler....

I would probably gain nothing from a cut out.

Give Nick a call a ARH. He's a great guy who will fab just about anything you want.

It sucks that they aren't gonna sell this package.

"In house installation only" isn't practical for the majority of members on this forum.

Too bad.

your ms4 cam would work and make #s similar with the trickflow 215 heads! Alot of cams making power with that head.

this is a very impressive combo with street manners to match. no idle surge and no stalling. we can drive it anywhere and it pulls like a freight train.

those who asked about the dyno....its a Dynocom...equivalent to a Dyno-jet.

My set-up does VERY well now compared to the numbers listed in this thread

I wasn't interested in purchasing this package with the intention of replacing my Firehawk's current set-up. On the contrary, I was interested in this package for my Wife's WS6 :)

I'm pushing over 600 rwph through my magnaflow catback with a turbo and it takes a lickin and keeps on ticking. Open the coutout and it shoots to 700 rwhp. Gotta love the sounds also.

This is no help at all. How about posting the specs now that you've had a few months to do in house installs.

How many of these pkgs have you done, and I am curious do you have links to the other cars that back up these numbers ?

Again great job !

One more, were there any track times for this car ?

Is it a rule around here that he has to give the cam specs out? If a customer has a serious inquiry about the package, I'm sure Nick and Mike would be more than willing to divulge a little more info. Not over an unsecure line of course:secret: I don't think this cam would suit your motor anyways, so that wouldn't make you a serious inquiry LOL

Shortly after this we stopped doing installs. Myself and Nick were doing all of them and at one point we were booked 3 months in advance. As you know we are primarly a nitrous company and it left little to no time to focus on that. We will pick them up again in the future, for now we are just taking on big project cars.

From all the other TFS 215cc posts around here you can see that it can be replicated, many shops have done it at this point. This was more of a personal goal rather than putting together a package.

I don't want the cam for my motor. I have a custom cam that a lot of thought was put into and is truly optimized for my goals. Drivability, Reliability, and low end torque with a very nice AVG power across the board, the 541 peak rwhp aint too bad either, did I mention it drives like stock and gets 27 mpg on the expressway? My specs are 239/243 .623/.623 113+3 no secrets here. Just trying to help spread knowledge on a setup that was thought out, tried, and proven to perform. Link in my sig to all the graphs from baseline, to final numbers, including a graph for each swap (h/c/headers)

Glad to hear that business is so good !!!! Especially in a time when everyone is losing there jobs, homes etc etc. I just wish it wasn't such a big deal to share the specs. We all get on here to learn about what works and what doesn't. From your numbers this cam laid down some nice power. Good job guys. Looking fwd to seeing some more of your cars hit the dyno.

this tread is over a year old, still on spec's on the cam!?!?!?
it must really be hush hush...
good thing is, there are some new lobe designs since they cut that cam in the first post.
Got to love the TrickFlow 215's they are a great cylinder head.
