Suspension & Brakes - Help With Street/strip Suspension

IM BUILDING MY CAR FOR STREET AND STRIP BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHAT KIND OF SHOCKS AND SPRINGS TO GO WITH . IM LOOKING TO SPEND NO MORE THAN 450.00 HOPEFULLY 300 IF POSS. I WAS TOLD MONROE SHOCKS FROM AUTOZONE WERE GOOD ALSO. ANYWAYS ILL LET YOU GUYS TAKE IT FROM HERE ALSO """""""""SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS I JUST NOTICED""""""
also i do not want to lower the car if i dont have to.im just looking for a set of springs and shocks for 450 t/q.

well if u dont want to lower it then dont get springs...plus that will leave more money for shocks(which are definitely the more expensive end of the deal) ...I think for ur budget a set of revalved bilstiens would be your best option
*cue suspension gurus to step in and totally go the other way*

if you are going to build your car for street/strip and are wanting shocks and springs what are your other sus. mods.? dont cheapen out on sus. go with adj. shocks,qa1,strange,koni.

keep stock springs and go for the revalved bilstiens , or save more money up and get the Koni 4/3 or even better 4/4. don't skimp on one of the most important parts of the car

I agree with all these guys !!Bottom line and i mean BOTTOM LINE!!!If you dont have the money to do it right? Save for it!!! or youll never be happy with what you bought and you will be wasting your hard earned money my man!!Do it right the first time ,summers coming too !You can always do exrtra jobs for peaple in the summer!!!

hotchkis lower control arms-QA1 adj. rear shocks-random technology adjustable torque arm..this set-up works..I bracket race it and drive to the track.
