HI ALL, JUST WANT TO KNOW THE BEST PLUGS TO USE FOR NITROUS? ITS A LS1 427 WITH DART HEADS, WILSON NOS KIT RUNNING 300HP. I AM CURRENTLY USING NGK R5671a-9, BUT THEY ARE ONLY LASTING ABOUT 5 PASSES. THE BEST ITS GONE IS 8.87 @ 160 MPH. THANKS.

please for the love of god dont call it nos, it is nitrous unless its the N.O.S. (nitrous oxide systems) brand even then its pronounced N-O-S.
And not to be a dick but you have a mid-high 8 sec car and you dont know what plugs to use?

Sorry but over here everyone calls it nos, Ok nitrous. It runs 12:1 compression, Running on c16. It starts to miss and carry on then put new spark plugs in it and its fine.

I would go NGK TR6. Perfect plug for boost, or spray. Nice cold plug to keep from overheating and you can get em for less than 2 bucks a piece. Pretty much pre-gapped.

Yup, I had bought some tr8's and after talking to more people and thinking of it more I returned them for a few sets of tr6's. They work and are cheap, change em once a season and give her ****

I think for a 300 shot you're going to need something a little colder than a tr6...

I use NGK 11's for anything over 300 shot.
Doesnt mean I'm right but thats what I use.

10's or 11's would be fine. We've used 10's up to around 400 hp of nitrous.We have also used autolite ar3932's but they are harder to read.
