Default 6.0/LQ4 carb torque curve?

I'm planning on putting a 6.0 LQ4 into a 68 vette. It has a 3.08 rear end. I would also like to add a tremec OD 5 speed trans (0.68). That would put me at just under 2000rpm at 75mph.
I think the fuel injected lq4 could probably pull that rpm in a vette without lugging, but what about the carb version? I dont think the injected lq4 intake will fit under my hood, so I'll run the carb/dual plane manifold setup.
Also considering I'll be running Vintage Air with this.
Opinions? Will I need to change to a 3.36 or higher rear end ratio?

ha... I have seen you on corvette forum. I like the carb setup... i would worry about the gearing. LS motor have alot more power across the whole range compared to gen 1 sbc

Yeah, that's me. I picked up the LQ9 with the injection harness, so I'll try that first. Although I might go with the Victor JR, EFI manifold and an elbow.

I'm going with the GM Performance four barrel single plane manifold for my LQ9, I'm using a F.A.S.T. 90mm TB adapted to a 1" spacer so it will sit more or less like a carb. I'll be using a little bigger injectors and my existing LS1 computer. I think it will run ok.

Who machined the injector bosses on the GM manifold?
Are you mounting the TB horizontally instead of verticle? If so, where are you mounting the MAF and air filter?
