Default Wierd Linkage Problem

'95 LT1/4l60e

the car was not engaging into any gears. I checked the linkage. Looked good. I pulled the linkage off the transmission.

By hand I can put the transmission in Park, however, when i move the lever by hand into R, N, D, 3, 2 it is always in neutral.

What is going on?

Thanks

I am not sure you have a linkage issue, I would pull a line from the cooler and start the car make sure you have a catch pan , Start car breifly and see if any fluid flows should be considerable in just a moment, Generaly in my experince loss of all movement is the result of a failed pump or broken input shaft or drum

I hope your wrong too

It's my first full drivetrain swap...I guess it seemed way to easy lol

I'm taking it your predictions would all require a rebuild? Probably way over my head

Unfortunatley that means at min you broke the pump and possibly detroyed or damaged the converter, But dont feel bad its likley the single most common thing to go wrong with and engine or trans swap.
