i'm helping my buddy put together a 388 stroker he's spent ALL his money on this thing it's not finished yet but i've got some pics of the progress they are pretty fun to look at










here we just put them on there to get a feel for what it will look like






going in a truck but you gotta love it

they're aluminum vortec style heads called procomp we got em off ebay for cheap. they're brand new, 200cc intake runners, 64cc chambers, and the big valves. not sure on springs

running a comp cams hyd. roller not sure on the specs right now but i could easily look at the card and post them up

i think they are eagle SIR I beams with the arp bolts my buddy bought them with the kit we weren't too impressed with them one was 11grams off for balancing so we had to replace it. they should be good enough for the hp level and rpm's we're aiming for though. had to grind a couple for cam clearance

I thought they looked wiered, 12 points but a thru bolt design had me guessing.

we aren't too fond of those valve covers anymore so they will probably be gone in a couple months.

just the fact that funds are running low right now

aww come on now they look better than a bolt head. i thought maybe a ridiculously large wing nut would look better or maybe a crown nut but this is what we're stuck with
