Default My conversion project - an old Volvo

1958 Volvo Duett - Just finishing up the suspension work. I still have to finish up the body drop (channeling) it 2". The rockers only get down to 3-1/2" from the ground with it on the frame now. Must be lower...

Heidts narowest M2 front end - narrowed another 4 inches and I STILL need to narrow it !!

Back halved, 8.8 Ford, 3.73 posi, HD air bags.

2001 5.3, mostly stock, Large Marge cam, mild porting, headers, nitrous, slight stall in the convertor (4L60E)

Gonna be my tow rig for my drag car. Being built to tow and roadtrip (family style). Will also have A/C, TV/DVD audio for the kiddies.

I've been doing some considerable lurking here and STILL don't know everything about wiring the motor. I'm getting a good collection of parts for it but I am starting to wonder if there are any real F-body oil pans out there for less than $200 that don't get snatched up within 3 seconds of be9ng posted. HOOK A BROTHA UP !! I NEED AN ORL PAN !!! (and PS pump and bracket).

I'm hoping for mid 12's on the hose, low 13's au' natural. Since buying my GTO (and subsequentally Magnacharging it), I really dig the LS motors.

That's gotta be the neatest thing this side of Arkansas......

If you bring me a harness Ill modify it all for ya so you can just hook up a few wires and go. I also think I found a power steering pump for ya via Mikey (green 6.0 S10)

Ha, I expected to see a 200 series or maybe a 100 series - this blows them out of the water, very nice.

Why you have to rub salt into the gaping "car's not done yet" wound?

Just about done with all the frame work.

Battery (looking straight down) and cutoff switch

Some engine miscellany
