Cam, and rocker?
I'm getting ready to buy MTI's C2 cam and was wondering if the new 1.85 rockers would fit with the stock heads, with 7.4000 crome-moly rods,918 springs and titanium keepers. And how much power do yall think it will gain. Car is completly stock.

If the rockers would work, I'd really look at some different springs. With a 1.85 rocker ratio on top of a .581 lift, you're asking for a spring to pop, IMO. On stock heads, you're really not gonna see that much gain in flow over ~.550-.560 lift. Personally, I think it's overkill on stock heads but if you're dead set on it, research the P/V issues and see where it leaves you. It's gonna be close, that's for sure.

Re: Cam, and rocker?
I wa splanning on doing the heads when I get back from a deployment. But the cam is only $280, and I'm trying to figure what will work with this cam on stock heads for about 4-6 months. Or until I have the money for head work or a new set of heads. I had a friend of mine tell me to use the stock rockers and just do springs and rods. Waht should I go with?

Re: Cam, and rocker?
ur lift would be .632"... i don't think the biggest, most powerful cars r running that much lift... the standard .581" lift is more than enough...
