Default G5x3 Clearance Question

On average, how much piston to valve clearance are people getting with the G5x3 (112 & 114) cam on stock heads? I tried to do a search but I kept coming across milled or aftermarket heads. I know the cam fits but I wanted to know by how much. Does it make a difference if you have ls6 heads?

I know my pistons were flycutt with stock heads .008 for added security. That was in 2005. Now I'm running a slightly bigger cam with afr 205 heads milled 59cc and have plenty of clearance. Sorry I don't have exact clearance numbers for ya, this the best I could do from memory.

I think you misplaced a decimal. .008 is almost nothing.

Eighty thousandths. Gotcha. I went the same flycutting my stock pistons for my G5X3 on a 112.
