Default Will 6 Bolt Heads Work On 4 Bolt Block?

My heads are going to have to be replaced, I would like to build a LSX with the 6 bolt pattern on the heads later on. Will a set of LSX 6 bolt heads work on my 6.0L Iron block I have now? If it will I will go with them so I will not have to buy the heads later.

Yeah they will work. But the price for for WarHawk and the LSX 6-bolt block is getting pretty inexpensive.

I agree. Isn't the LSX block around $1800?

Do any of you guys know off hand which heads would have the thickest deck on them. AFR, Dart, ETP, Trick Flow or any others.

If you're going to buy 6-bolt heads for an LSX block I think your only options at this point are ET and All-pro.

ET or Allpro. I know the ET deck is god bit thicker most all the other castings.
