Replacing Clutch Slave Cylinder
I am preparing to help a friend replace his clutch on a 2000 Pontiac TA and we are planning on replacing the slave cylinder at the same time. I have never done a slave cylinder before, does anyone have any tips or is there anything I should know before getting into this? Does the system need to be bled after this procedure?

Re: Replacing Clutch Slave Cylinder
If you bench bleed the cylinder you will not have to bleed the system. Get a 01 or newer slave. You will also need a tool to get the lines apart, autozone have them for a few bucks.

Do you happen to know a part number for the proper tool or is there a specific name for the tool that I will need?
