Default what rpm should my a4 shift at?

I have 98 z28 with a few minor bolts on and it seems I'm shifting at 5k from first to second and so on. I have a vinci / powermax tuner and still with it tuned to performance for trans setting it still seems to to shift at 5k. Isn't that low???

your shift points should be about 500rpms lower than your peak power levels from your cam..that way it shifts at the peak
