Default Hawk HPS vs. HP+

Ok guys, I love my HPS. They dust a tad more than factory but they last decent and stop much better and are quiet. I drive a lot of miles a year but am considering upgrading to the HP+ for the 1/10,000 trips where 20' of stopping improvement is the difference between an accident and just wet drawers.

How does the mileage compare b/t these two, assuming similar driving habits?
How noisy are the HP+, really? Constant, only when cold, etc?

These are my main two concerns. Thanks!

I just switched from HP pluses to HPS pads. The HP Pluses are noisier in that they squeak during soft bracking. The HP pluses will make your wheels black after only a couple days. The HP PLuses do grab more and feel like they slow you down faster but not a night and day difference just a little bit more braking power. My HP pluses had 5000 miles on them and were about half way gone and that was street driving with light to moderate braking.
