Very nice!!! I've been formulating a plan to replace my LT1 with a big inch LS3, so I'll be watching to see how yours turns out for sure

So what's the plan for the topend of this motor?

tfs 215 heads and a ported fast 90. harland sharp rockers, patriot extreme springs, ls7 lifters (bad caddy experience), and tfs pushrods.

Sounds like it'll be pretty stout, what cam are you gonna use?

And just out of curiousity, why did you choose the TFS/FAST 90 top-end combo over a set of ported LS3/L92s? Just curious, cause I was thinking of the latter for my LS3 build up...

i already had the top end. had put them on my stock shortblock and then had lifter failure so i decided to reuse them on this motor.

cam is a comp lsl 247/ 255 .624/ .624 on a 114+4

i really dont have any expectations for it but i would like to see 500+ rwhp and close in the torque dept. whatever i dont make on motor ill just spray a bigger shot i have plenty of room to grow with my nitrous kit.

Looks good man. I just ordered my 416 today and heads today. It looks like you went with a little better parts on the bottom end but I went with the TFS 235's instead of the 215's. If I can sell my cam I am going to have Pat G spec me some thing in your range. It will be a pretty good comparison between the two motors when they are done. The rest of the parts look about the same. What headers are you running? I am still debating selling my 1 3/4" LG Pros.

Said it before and I'll say it again... your car is unbelievably clean. Good luck on the setup.
