I would think so but not sure...because you can put L92 heads and intake on a ls1-ls6.

Yes, the heads will bolt up. All the four bolt heads have the same bolt pattern. The only thing that would prevent them from bolting up is valve sizing.

So can I bolt LS6 heads on a L92 shortblock?

....would it be better to go with an LS2 shortblock with the Ls6 heads?

L92 shortlbocks are better than their LS2 counterparts. You have a larger bore potential without resleeving.

We build L92 shortblocks with LS6 (cathedral port) style heads all the time. Just put out an ET245 headed 416 GTO. We are also putting together an ET255 headed, big cammed, high compression 416 for a local customer with a 99 M6 car.

The larger bore really allows the heads to breathe...
