Default New performance results(346 h/c)

Just recently got my car back together.
Tommy (Anger Management Racing) and I put together a new heads/cam package. Thanks Troy for all your hard work and late nights tuning.

We are still working on the tune but were pleased that we made:
+35rwhp
+23rwtq
over my old setup on Tune Time's MUSTANG dyno.(Thanks Matt).

Best pull so far was 467rwhp/390rwtq.
I would estimate this to be around 525rwhp on a dynojet thru 4.10 gears.

I'll try and get a graph up to show how strong this car looks @7000+.

Trickflow 215 heads
Custom Cam
4.10 gears

Well brother you really did do your homework. It amazes me how the ls6 blocks seem to make more power everytime then the ls1 c5's.

What is it about the ls6 block??

All I can say is Congrats on making another monster 346 over 500 rwhp. Now get the graph up already. I am dying to see your lowend numbers, the torque number in particular. I'm sure its sweet everywhere. Any specs on the cam ?? 240 ish 620 lift numbers ?? Just guessing.

Thanks. I sent a copy to Christian to post.
I set this package up with drag racing in mind since I like to run the car at the strip. I was more focussed on the high end hp and maintaining the rpm above 7000.

I am hosting the dyno graph for robz, below it is:

WOW, that's serious power for a 346 Cid NA, with a real racing torque curve shape reaching its pike at 5500 rpm.

Your effective racing powerband is going to be from ~505 Fwhp to 585 Fwhp I guess with your gearing...

No doubt, you made your homework and received wise advices from knwoledgeable persons.

Christian

Thanks Christian for hosting.
That pull was to 7500rpm so the lines should be extended to that rpm. Therefore my car lost around 7rwhp from 7000-7500rpm which was one of the main goals; to maintain RWHP up to 7500rpm.

This dyno typically reads 13% lower than the local dynojets.
This is also through 4.10 gears.

Wow man !! You have some serious top end, and I'm not talking a tiny peak that drops like a brick afterwards. Mt Fn Everest baby !!!!! I'd love to see what you put down on a DJ. Very respectable Mustang Dyno numbers.

Looks like your power starts "bleeding" off at about 6900 rpms. Those are some awesome numbers though, what have you done to the bottom end to handle the rpms?

Crossed my pointer and middle finger.
I don't plan to shift that high too often.
I'm hoping that 7000rpm shifts will be fine since they have been for a few years now.
