Default Wanted: Brake parts

Hey guys

I will be picking up a rear end for my car on Sunday, out of a 2002 SS and I will need all of the brake parts, so like backing plates, calipers, pads and rotors... Where should I look for this? Does anyone have backing plates and calipers laying around? I should probably get new rotors and pads... Let me know what you've got... Im in London Ontario

I would recommend 98-02 LS1 brakes.
At the very least you will need;

Backing plates, and calipers. Maybe available at a scrap yard?

Pads and rotors. Should get new. NAPA has a discount for TFBM members.

Hope this helps,
Jeff

I bought mine from an F body dealer down in FLA for $115 for everything. Rotors, pads, backing plates, e brake cables, flex lines. All the pieces. I found them on ebay but I cant recall the dealers name now. It was something like f body resource or f body unlimited I think. Hope this is of some help

Kubus, for my rear LS1 brakes, i have the following:

Backing plates
Calipers
Caliper Carrier brackets
Rotors
Pads
Rear diff hardlines & flexlines (One side needs the fitting changed to adapt into your stock drum flex line)
Ls1 e-brake cables
Ls1 ebrake lever
LS1 ebrake brackets

You will need to put the LS1 ebrake assembly into your car, which involves drilling & bolting on one of the 4th gen brackets. This is because the ls1 ebrake hook is different then the stock setup, and there is yet to be a company that makes a cable that adapts the thirdgen handle to the 4th gen internal brake.

If you are still looking I should have everything you need from a 99 z28.
Let me know. I am less than an hour away from you.
