So I do have a small system in my car. a Mono JL 250/1 Amp and a 10" JL Sub in a stealth box. Here's my problem I had an Advanced Auto generic battery in my car for couple years and it finally died. So I purchased the red top Optima Battery and ever since I got it the head lights flicker on every bang of the sub even if the volume is on medium. Anyone know what to do about this. I don't have a capacitor.

Get a bigger alternator or a cap. Unless you're listening to it w/ the car off, then that's just because it's putting a drain on the battery.
