Hi all,
I just purchased some 12" subs and want to retain my T-Top storage space. Short of dropping mad cash on the subthump box i have decided to build my own to fit on the trunk/storage/the pointless area behind the back seat. There in lies request one
If you have a custom or self built setup in that area please post

I have an old Alpine .5DIN EQ that i would like to hook up to my new head unit when i get around to it. Just looking 1 for pics of a setup like this, 2 product numbers or sites that may have products to help me with my install.
FWIW i did try the search button and didnt come up with much.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

This was my first setup, its two 10's though, i now have two 12's but i haven't taken a picture yet, i'll try to get one tomorrow. I love the box cost me, $150 from Tweeter, they built the box, matched the carpet, installed the subs and amp, wired it up, and did it all in day.
for some reason they charge alot more if you want 12's. if i got the same box but they cut the holes to fit 12's it would have been like $200.

Awesome, thanks for the input and the pic. I think im going to go a lil taller on the side by the seats, and slant it down towards the back of the car, now i just have to figure where to put the amps.
Keep em coming.

It sucks we cant hide the amps. I experimented with my Alpine 4 ch (mrp-f300) amp and Alpine mono (m-1000) amp and mounted them in the spare tire area.. Yea it last 2 days, it was wayyyy tooo hott in there and uh yea would over heat.
I like twpetry's setup.. Is it possible to counter sink that amp ?

i think he meant like make a "pocket" in the box to flush mount the amp.
