Some 1/8 mile track times with my C5 Z06 (with video) I finally threw a set of drag radials on the Z06 for some testing and I have to say this thing leaves WAY different than my LS1 Trans Am did..lol. Since this was the first time out I was going a tad easy on the launches.. I think I was launching in the 4000 rpm range but the car wants alot more. In a couple of weeks i'm going back with a more aggressive launch.. i would love to see a high 7.6x out here at my elevation.
Best pass was a 7.88 @ 89.61 with a 1.80 60' at 3343 FT DA (for comparison.. that would be a 7.56 @ 93.4 corrected)
Only mods are: Vararam CAI, B&B Bullet catback, a little tuning by yours truely and a set of 275/40/17 BFG DR's, everything else is bone stock.
