Default Why does my car seem so slow?

Its a 1998 TA M6 with:

Hooker Headers
ORY
Hooker Aero Chamber
Lid and Filter

It made almost 360whp and Almost 370wtq when it was tuned in August

The best its ever done is 13.2 @ 111.8mph
Its done 112 trap spinning off the line

Yesterday i was doing consistent 13.3's at 109mph with a 2.19 60 ft

yesterdays best was

I guess i should add that I was running at ESTA Dragway in Cicero NY in about 75 degree weather. Guys were saying the track wasn't hooking well because it was early in teh season, but i still think something is wrong the times this car (or driver) produces.

id say if your running stock suspension and tires, id get some et streets, lca, and lcar brackets. that should help get some power to the ground

well im not an expert on that, but if you spin your et is going to suck, but it doesnt mean you cant still get a decent mph, not every car that runs the same et will have the same trap mph, every car is different

It is a heavy car most likely but it should be running faster than that. Also switch to an ls6 intake and ported throttle body. Those are most likely holding you back some as well. Throw some Et streets on there and see where you are. Seems like with what you got it should be running faster than that. I was going 13.1 with my 98 m6 ws6 full bolt on's SFC's and street tires. Does the car run well otherwise? Perhaps the tune isn't quite where you want it to be yet.

The car runs awesome on the street. It has great compression, does seem to be running to rich, or to lean, but it just doesn't shine on the track.

I'd think even with the Ls1 intake setup the car should trap in the 113-116 mph

funny last fall I ran my Trans Am there with my current mods, and my best was 13.7, I only got to run it 2 times due to lots of cars. How was the turn out? My brother and I would have taken our cars if we weren't in Florida. They just opened this weekend?

I got 7 runs in with time to cool off in between, and i got there late and left early! It was opening day for Test and Tune, and it was beautiful out. I talked to several people who all say the track was fresh, and wasn't hooking good. I was too disappointed in my slow cammed ws6 to enjoy it! hah

I will take it to lebanon, and maybe rochester. Anyone else have a slow trapping cam car? or is it just my girly little car?

Dan someday you'll learn i always need something to complain about with my car so i can remember why i wanted to sell it. Its your fault in the first place that i still have the car, and had to start this thread! If i had a Z06 i would be in the 12's, and probably drinking a beer right now.

I would be able to have a better tire on it because i wouldnt worry about breaking my rear end ever 2 seconds, and the one i test drove hooked pretty good on the street!
