Wheels & Tires - Old Wheels Vs. New Wheels

So I got tired of 18" wheels and decided to get a set of 10 spoke SS wheels and paint them 35th style, and now many people are telling me that they liked the C6 wheels better. Honestly, I'm happier with the present wheels (and tires!), but we all know how it sucks when we mod something and others don't like it...

So, how do the masses feel?

BTW, for what it's worth: The car will be dropped approx. 1.4" on Thursday, went with Suspension Techniques springs, Konis in front, AGX in back.

Don't really like the SS 10 spoke wheels but they do fit with your car.

The tires on the C6s were 295/45/18 Toyos... a 28.5" tire. Why you may ask? Because I really, really hated low profile tires... I'm much happier with my 275/40/17 et streets, lol.

I don't really like larger than 17s on the 4th gens.
Especially on the front.

both look good, but I always loved the 35th SS wheels, so I say the new ones are better

I find it interesting that 25% of people prefer the C6s, but nowhere near that percentage has commented... Mainly I'm just hoping to ensure thant nobody dislikes these wheels on my car! My ultimate plan is still to go with a set of Bonspeed Deltas and have the centers powdercoated black.... but before I spend $1600 on wheels, I need heads.... a 9"..... and well, lots.

you really need to lower your car, lol. i think anything...even stockers... look 5x better when lowered.

why does it matter what other people think are a better fit? if you were tired of the vette wheels, and got something that you like better, then you did the right thing. period. make yourself happy, and screw anyone else that hates on it.

i know i didn't buy my car to make other people happy, i bought it to make me happy. if someone else doesn't like what i've done to my car, it's ok.....they're the one with the problem, not me.

having said that, i personally think the vette wheels looked better, except the difference in the sidewall height between the front and rear wheels (at least, it looks like they're different in that first pic).

If both tires on the C6's had been the same/correct size it wouldnt have looked so retarded. But the 10 spokes still get my vote.

Of the 2 I'd go with the 35th SS but personally prefer something with a little dish and lip
