Default want to forge my stock block?

ok guys, i want to replace my rods and pistons for a little bit of boost on my ls1.
im wanting about 650hp. so which pistons and rods should i get and also any other things like piston rigs, rod bolts,any ting else yall would suggest i get for boost.

my goals are very similar to yours and i'm going with diamond pistons w/ plasma moly rings (from TSP) and Scat H-beam 6.125" rods w/ ARP bolts

I think I'm gonna cheap out & get Probe pistons & Scat I-beams.

Nothing wrong with Scat I-beams, thats whats in my new shortblock

As for what parts to use, its best to talk to the person whose building your motor. Offten times you can get things cheaper as a whole rather than buying everything one by one from 10 ifferent vendors. Also, some vendors can get some things cheaper than others.

what is the size piston i need, in going in my stock bottom end ls1(346)
